FAQs

Who is this experience for?

We invite people who teach, create, lead, and have a real influence on the creative business community. There isn’t a follower count or revenue number you have to hit. We’re thinking about what each person would bring to the conversation.

How many people will be invited?

Only 10–15. I want you to have time to actually get to know people, instead of leaving with a stack of names you barely remember.

Do I have to be a current Showit user?

No. A lot of the people in the room will know Showit, but you don’t need to use it to be invited.

Is this a conference?

No. There won’t be a ballroom full of people listening to one speaker after another. You’ll be part of the conversations, and we’ll have plenty of time together outside the planned sessions, too.

What exactly will we be doing?

We’ll talk about business, share what we’ve learned, spend time with the Showit team, eat together, and have some fun at the ranch. Take a look at the schedule above for a feel for the days. We’ve planned enough to make the time worthwhile, with room for the conversations that happen on their own.

Is this right for me if I’m introverted?

Yes. It’s a small group, and you’ll have time to step away and recharge. You can join the conversation without feeling like you need to perform for the room.

What is the cost?

There's no attendance fee for CLX, you simply pay for your lodging: $100 or $250 for the entire retreat, depending on the room. Everything else is on us.

What do I need to prepare?

Very little. We’ll send you a short guide beforehand and ask you to think about something you’ve learned or a question you’d love to explore with the group. You don’t need to put together a presentation.

Do I have to teach or present?

No formal presentation. We’ll invite everyone to share something from their lived business experience, whether that’s an idea, a lesson, or a question. That’s what makes the room useful for everyone.

What if I feel overwhelmed or burned out?

You can come without having it all figured out. There will be business conversations, but also time outdoors, shared meals, and space to breathe. If you need a break, take one.

Will there be downtime?

Yes. We’ve left space in the schedule to rest, spend time with someone you connected with, or just be on your own for a bit.

Where is clx held?

We’ll start at Showit’s headquarters in Chandler, Arizona, and spend the rest of the experience at Rivendale Ranch. We’ll send you the arrival and travel details once you confirm.

What is included?

Your lodging for three nights, meals during the experience, and the activities on the schedule. We’ll send you a full guide before you travel so you know what to expect and what to pack.

Are meals included?

Yes. We’ll provide meals from Monday when you arrive through breakfast on Thursday. Let us know about any dietary restrictions ahead of time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. And yes, there’s a very good espresso machine at the ranch.

Is there an ongoing element?

The gathering ends, but hopefully the relationships don’t. We may bring past guests together again or invite them into other conversations with Showit. We’ll let you know when there’s something concrete to share.
